I’ve been fortunate to have been trained (and been “wire brushed”) by some of the best business minds in the world, and over my career have developed and closed on hundreds of campaigns and offers, led and facilitated close to a thousand small group, consulting, and one-on-one sessions with the single goal of building and increasing revenue streams for that business.
These experiences have generated hundreds of millions of dollars in sales for my long time employers and my clients, and it built a foundation that allows me to help my clients immediately.
Lastly, I’ve spent the last 3 years focused exclusively on direct response copywriting.
I’m formally trained by American Writers and Artists, and Digital Marketer in direct response marketing.
I’m certified by Dominate Web Media on Facebook advertising.
And, I’ve spent 10’s of thousands of dollars on training to fully grasp the details and intricacies of digital marketing and direct response copywriting best practices.
One day, I came into the office. Fresh off another 70-80 hour workweek, and the boss let me know that the company was selling the business I was running. I went from a growing $50 million dollar business to not knowing if I had a job the next day. Talk about shock.
I needed to slow down and reflect on what had just happened…
I have 4 children, an amazing wife, and I sat in my office and realized that I had made my family 100% dependent upon a single source of revenue.
I was breaking the exact rule that I highlight about being too dependent upon a single way of generating income for businesses.
First, I needed to ensure that my family was protected. That no single business could wipe out all we have worked to accomplish..
Next, it was the realization that the skills that I possess, the impact I make for my clients, is critical in every business. That my passion for helping people grow their business was burning just as bright.
And, it was the opportunity to demonstrate for my children that a job is good, but you can control your own fate through positive work and your own business.
